Ah 83 Saratoga - I can close my eyes and remember it fondly

$8 tickets at the gate my friend - thats no typo

So much has been said about this show and it's all true - some killer stuff here - some people consider this the greatest dew of all time - I don't know but is on my short list

I think the fact that a board never surfaced has kept this one from being considered an epic show. That's a whole other topic - under/over rated shows because of recording quality

I hear people rave about the 85 show and to me it's nowhere in the league of 83

Whole hearted agree about this one v. 85. While certainly enjoyable, 85 was not even in the same time zone as this beast. The things I remember most about 85 focus more on the incredible venue and surrounding, as well as the dipshit acrobat on the balcony. Music was strictly OK. To me anyway.

I agree although because of the higher recording grade that circulates I'm more likely to put the 85' on in the bar. At home it's all 83'!
